The pen boasts a stunning Sterling Basketweave Overlay, characterized by crossing straps engraved deep into the solid sterling. This woven look catches light differently as you turn the pen, with the engraving on this example being deep and detailed, and the silver's natural patina darkening in the recesses. The code on the barrel end, '4', signifies a sterling full overlay, followed by 'lever', then the '#2' nib, all in the slender vest size.

The #2 Flex nib offers fantastic and controlled performance. It swells super easily under moderate pressure, providing extremely consistent line variation, while remaining firm enough for fast print writing between flexed passages.
