Your trust is our top priority. When you buy on Gathermark, you're not just getting a great item, you're getting peace of mind. Here's how we protect you:

  • Secure Payments with PayPal: Your purchases are backed by PayPal's robust Buyer Protection. If your item doesn't arrive or is significantly different from the description, you can file a claim with PayPal for a full refund.
  • Escrow for Added Security: We use an escrow system to hold your payment until you've received and approved your item. This extra layer of protection ensures that you get what you paid for, and it minimizes the chances of needing to file a claim in the first place. Experienced and trusted sellers may receive their money sooner, but that doesn't limit your buyer protection.
  • Vetted Seller Tiers: We conduct various levels of seller vetting to ensure trustworthy transactions. We verify past trades sellers might have done with Reddit and cross-reference them with known scam lists. We check a sellers' verification status with Paypal. And we offer the "Verified Artisan" program to highlight top quality sellers and restorers. This helps to build a community of trusted sellers and reduces the risk of fraud.
  • Clear and Transparent Listings: We encourage our sellers to provide detailed and accurate descriptions of their items, so you know exactly what you're getting. If a listing is unclear, you can easily contact the seller for more information before you buy, right in the listing timeline.

  • •Exercise fair pricing (for both selling and buying posts)
  • •Upload quality photos
  • •Full and honest disclosure of user and item locations
  • •When buying internationally, familiarize yourself with your local import costs and regulations
