Up for sale is a gorgeous and highly collectible Pelikan Classic M200 fountain pen in the rare and stunning Blue Marbled finish. This is a vintage piece from the late 1980s / early 1990s, proudly engraved with "W. GERMANY" on the cap band.
This pen is in pristine, New Old Stock (NOS) perfect condition.
It has never been inked or used, and it still retains its original golden paper tag ("M 200") on the clip as well as the original "M" nib size sticker on the barrel.
Rare Blue Marbled Finish: A beautiful, deep blue color with mesmerizing pearlescent swirls and incredible chatoyancy.
This specific early variant is quite difficult to find nowadays, especially in this condition.
Vintage Ebonite Feed: Unlike modern plastic feeds, this early version features a vertical-finned ebonite feed, highly prized by fountain pen enthusiasts for its superior ink-flow properties.
Slightly Flexible Nib: Equipped with a gold-plated stainless steel Medium (M) nib.
These vintage Pelikan steel nibs are famous for being much softer and offering a delightful touch of line variation (pleasant springiness/flex) compared to rigid modern nibs.
Piston Filling System: Traditional smooth Pelikan piston mechanism.
The ink window is crystal clear.
Pen Condition: 10/10 (Flawless, brand new vintage stock).
Packaging: Comes with its original vintage Pelikan presentation box and a bottle of Pelikan 4001 ink.
Note on the ink bottle: Due to age, the paper label on the ink bottle is starting to peel off slightly (visible in photos), which is very common for sets of this era.
To adapt to your budget, I can offer two shipping methods:
Full Set Shipping: Shipped with the complete original box and the vintage ink bottle.
Pen-Only Shipping: If you prefer to save on international shipping costs, I can safely ship the pen alone (securely packed in a bubble mailer/rigid tube) without the heavy box and ink bottle. Please let me know your preference before paying so I can adjust the invoice.
Feel free to ask if you have any questions or need additional pictures. Don't miss out on this beautiful piece of fountain pen history!
