Following Pelikan’s traditional manufacturing techniques, the barrel is meticulously constructed from cotton-based cellulose acetate. It features alternating stripes of opaque fire-engine red, white, and micro-slivers of silver-grey that provide immense visual depth and a faint translucent quality to monitor ink levels.

As an M600 model, it occupies the comfortable “Goldilocks” footprint of the Souverän series, offering a non-fatiguing, balanced writing experience that scales perfectly when posted. Our pen is in excellent plus condition and has hardly ever been inked. Only the lightest handwear and lack of box/papers stops it from being a brand new pen, and it is fitted with a superb broad nib.
