The Parker 51 is one of the most recognisable and influential fountain pens of the twentieth century, celebrated for its streamlined profile, hooded nib and exceptionally practical design.

Originally introduced in 1941, the Parker 51 became one of Parker's most successful models and remained in production for decades. This particular example has been reimagined by Pentsugi, retaining the unmistakable silhouette of the original while introducing a unique raden-inlaid cap.

Tiny pieces of iridescent mother-of-pearl have been individually laid into resin across the cap, creating flashes of colour that change depending on the angle and light. The result is deliberately subtle from a distance but reveals considerably more detail when viewed up close.

The pen is fitted with a 14K Fine gold hooded nib, producing the precise and understated writing experience for which the Parker 51 is known. It uses Parker's Aerometric filling system and has been fitted with a new silicone sac.

This example is in restored and reimagined vintage condition.

The pen has been carefully disassembled, cleaned, inspected and tested. The filling system has been serviced with a new silicone sac, and the pen has been tested for reliable filling and writing.

The original vintage components may show light surface marks and signs of previous use consistent with their age. The cap has been individually refinished with raden and resin by Pentsugi, making this a unique customised piece rather than an original factory Parker finish.

Any significant imperfections are shown in the photographs.
