About Fountain Pens

This community is for secondary market sales of fountain pens, ink, and accessories. Similar writing utensils are also accepted, but should remain in the minority of listings. This community is moderated to ensure quality.

• Ready to buy? You can checkout on the listing page. Items added to your cart will not carry over to other listing pages.
• Have a question or comment for the seller? Write in the Q&A section at the bottom of each listing.
• Need a custom shipping quote? Click the "request" button next to your shipping region, or ask the seller to enable this via the comment section.
• Check the seller profile for more information about their credibility. A "Verified Artisan" is a seller that Gathermark has verified as skilled restorers of pens and related items.

• Mint (uninked) [A1]: Shows no signs of use.
• Mint (inked) [A2]: Has been inked but is otherwise mint.
• New/New old Stock: Mint and uninked condition but may have signs of shelf wear
• Excellent [B]: All original parts and with minimal signs of use.
• Fine [C]: All original parts. Moderate signs of use (light discoloration, imprints, dings, scratches)
• Fair [D]: Some unoriginal parts. Noticeable signs of use.
• Parts: Non-functional and only good for parts

• Secondary market only. No primary sales from manufacturers or retailers at this time.
• Good photos are essential for successful sales. Include close-ups of the nib, any engravings, and any wear or damage.
• "How does it write?" This is the most common question. Help people out with a description, a photo, or a video.
• Detailed specs: Condition, Nib size, filling mechanism, materials, and year of manufacture (when known), are all helpful to buyers
• Verify Ownership. Be prepared to share proof of ownership with customers or Gathermark admin if you asked.
• Price your items fairly based on their condition and market value. Price gouging is discouraged.
• Always drain ink before shipping, use appropriate padding, consider insurance for valuable items, and provide tracking information to buyers promptly.
