The Montblanc Great Characters John Lennon, released in 2010, is a tribute to one of the most iconic figures in music history. Designed to capture the spirit and legacy of John Lennon, this unique fountain pen is a masterpiece of both craftsmanship and design.

Its body is crafted from black precious resin, featuring an engraved surface reminiscent of a vinyl record, creating a tactile experience inspired by Lennon’s deep connection to music. The platinum-coated fittings add a touch of elegance and timeless appeal.

The pen’s clip is shaped like the neck of a guitar, inspired by John Lennon’s Gibson, and ends in a guitar hole featuring his famous self-portrait signature, a subtle yet striking personal touch.

The 18-karat gold nib, coated in rhodium, is adorned with the peace symbol, an homage to Lennon’s unwavering message of peace and unity.

This special edition is accompanied by a vinyl record of the timeless song “Imagine”, along with a note from John Lennon.

The fountain pen listed here comes from a collector's reserve. It is an entirely new and unused fountain pen. However, we do not have the dedicated special edition box prepared by Montblanc for this prestigious edition. This pen will come in a standard Montblanc giftbox.
