This pen was restored. There are no cracks or splits and virtually no scratches either; the tassie on the cap is black. The pen has been stripped, cleaned, had a new diaphragm fitted, reassembled, adjusted, and write tested.

I also had the nib tuned by Jose Fernandez to remove a slight scratchiness from the writing. Writes beautifully now.
