A beautiful Bright Green Jade Sheaffer Lifetime fountain pen dating to approximately 1925.

Fully functional and in excellent aesthetic condition, this is a wonderfully kept collectible fountain pen coming from the golden era of Sheaffer pens.

Sheaffer was among the first manufacturers to adopt the use of colorful plastics on their fountain pens, and the Lifetime was one of the first models to hit the market with a beautiful bright green color, matched to gold coated details.

The Senior size (13.5cm capped) was advertised at the time for its exceptional ink carrying capacity - larger barrels could hold larger ink sacks, and for its rigid gold nib that could last a lifetime and deliver the demanding work on carbon copies that was necessary during that era.

Sheaffer was at the time focused on delivering pens of excellent quality, pens that would last a lifetime as the name of the model implies.

The particular pen listed here is in excellent condition, no cracks, no discoloration, white dot in tact. The sack was recently replaced, and will be checked prior to shipment (if we deem it necessary, it will be replaced again prior to shipement). The nib is quite rigid, and delivers some feedback, but still delivers consistently a rich medium line.

This is a vintage pen, and we do not have a period correct box for it. It will be shipped in a Sheaffer box from a more modern era for safety during transportation.
