For sale is a Waterman 52 1/2 pen in a fantastic condition, boasting crisp imprints and chasing, a deep black color, and no plating loss. This exquisite writing instrument was made in the US in the 1920s from ebonite and features a reliable lever filler mechanism. A decorative gold-plated band adds a unique character to the pen.
The nib is truly a dream – a typical Waterman Ideal #2 nib, renowned for its smooth writing, stubbish character, and significant flex, making it a joy for expressive calligraphy and varied line work. This is one of those pens I find genuinely difficult to part with.
The pen measures 13.5cm long when closed.
