Preowned Montblanc Writers Edition Friedrich Schiller Fountain Pen
Friedrich Schiller dedicated all his literary and dramatic talent to a central theme: freedom. His works, at whose center is always a strong call for freedom, and revolt against individual constraints, still inspire people all around the world.
The Writers Edition Schiller is made of a material that was a symbol of a changing society, especially in Schiller's time - amber.
The combination of amber with the black precious resin, from which the body of the pen is made, creates a wonderful and, at the same time, classic effect, which is complemented by the gold-plated decorative elements, the piston rings and the clip.
The finely engraved 18-carat gold nib is decorated with a small crossbow as a tribute to "William Tell", one of Schiller's best-known pieces of literature.
Montblanc's Writers Edition Schiller was released in 2000 and included 18000 fountain pens, 16000 ballpoint pens, and 4000 mechanical pencils.
The fountain pen listed here comes from a collector's reserve. It is an entirely new and unused fountain pen, that comes with the set of box and documentation prepared by Montblanc for this prestigious edition. The only part missing is the cover of the box.
The pen comes along with a special edition of a Schiller book, that was issued by the official Montblanc distributor for Greece, and distributed along with the Schiller writing instruments at the time of their release. Please note that the book is in Greek, and will only be shipped to international buyers if they confirm their interest by email or in the comments of their order.
