Preowned Parker Duofold MK I Burgundy Marble Centennial Fountain Pen

Preowned fountain pen, used in very good condition, with minor marks of use on its body and few visible marks of use on the nib.

This pen operates flawlessly, it was tested upon receipt, and comes with period correct box. Upon request we can include a new Parker converter free of charge.

The Parker Duofold is one of the most classic and characteristic models of Parker.

The Duofold first appeared in 1921, and has since been a staple of the Parker collection. Their hefty size (5.5 inches when capped) the cylindrical style with the flat top and bottom, and the special colors like the Mandarin Yellow set the Duofold appart, making it a model loved by everyone and copied by many.

The new range of Parker Duofolds was introduced in 1988 as part of the celebrations of Parker's 100th Anniversary, and included a classic black resin with gold coated trims, and three marbled resins, a blue, a green, and the burgundy presented here.

The Centennial size is the largest size in this emblematic series, measuring approximately 13.7cm capped. It has a nib made of 18kt gold, and a cartridge/converter filling system.
