The Montblanc writing instruments created in honor of Agatha Christie are based on the classic style of the early 1920s. Black precious resin dominates this creation. Around the cap winds a gold-coated snake made of 925 sterling silver, which hints at the creeping tension of the author's novels and also serves as the clip of the pen.

The head of a snake is also engraved on the rhodium-plated 18-carat gold nib.

Each pen is also decorated with the signature of the grande dame of the crime novel.

The Montblanc Writers Edition Agatha Christie Vermeil was issued along with the Silver edition, but in a considerably smaller quantity, limited to 4810 numbered fountain pens.

This fountain pen comes from a collector's reserve. It is an entirely new and unused fountain pen, that comes with the dedicated box and documentation prepared by Montblanc for this prestigious edition. The cover of the box is missing, and the box is slightly damaged, but the booklet and limited edition card of the pen are available.
